Artistic Expressions is a boutique violin studio aiming to serve the discriminating parents and students who want the very best musical instruction available.
Mission Statement:
In the Suzuki spirit, our purpose is to enable children to develop into artists.
This development takes commitment and intensity - and is not appropriate for families who are interested in music as another extracurricular activity, or families who merely want to "expose" their child to music lessons. Artistic Expressions families recognize music as a core subject right alongside reading and math. In the Artistic Expressions experience, art is not extra - it is essential.
We seek families that are driven and motivated and ready to commit to the entirety of the Artistic Expressions program. Upon enrolling, families are asked to sign an agreement stating that they will adhere to the policies and purposes of the Artistic Expressions program.
Through an intensive program of lessons, hour of home practice, group classes, and public performance, students gain skill on their instrument, build cooperative relationships with their peers, gain confidence in public presentation, and develop their inner selves through the discipline, love, sweat, and tears required for progress on any musical instrument.

We seek to develop passion, talent, skill, and intensity that will carry the child wherever they want to go in life - whether that means becoming a professional musician, or using the discipline, artistry, and dedication that they develop in their violin studies in another career field.
If you want something more for your child than merely dropping your child off to play at music for an hour - if you believe that music is the very pulse of life - if you have seen the heights to which children can soar - then our program is for you.
The Artistic Expressions program is not equipped to serve adult students (exceptions made for parents of Artistic Expressions students), students who have begun their study in a school music program, or beginners older than 10.
